Bill Zang gave me a ride in one just like this and let me drive it. Really nice craft. Performed beautifully. I have a UH12T4 I built. Would love to own one these 13P's or 14P's. Bob Windt did a great job designing this craft and many others. He also assisted me many times over the phone when I was stumped on something or just a general question. He was a super guy and very helpful explaining things as well as a true hovercraft master builder. Thanks to you Bob I still have my craft today! 43 years now and many innovations and upgrades over the years. Meeting you in person several times was a great privilege for me and I know many others. Words cannot convey how missed you are!

I just found one that needs work ...

wonder if the plans can be modified to allow the use of 2 engines, one for lift and the other for motion. in some rescue situations you may need to sit the craft on the water but still move closer to the survivor.

This is an excellent design, very stable, it uses the Ekranoplan front thrust principle perfectly.

Pretty sure this uses an effect the Russians used for several supersonic jet/boats on the Black and Caspian Seas back during the Cold War. Still, pretty cool.
